1 Vigyan Aadhar: InQUIZitive Buzz Description: Quiz contest consisting of four set of rounds.
Team Composition: A team of 3 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
● Four teams will be shortlisted through a written/screening test (objective type/multiple choice) for final quiz. ● All rounds are passing rounds. If a team could not answer, it will be passed to the team who press the buzzer first (15sec). ● If two teams press the buzzer together there will be some enjoyable and wonderful provision to overcome the tie. ● If the team with passing question could not give correct answer then the question will be passed to the audience. Organizers retain the right to amend the rules.
2 Vigyan Sandesh “Art in Science” I. Pre-Prepared poster Description: Participant will bring pre-prepared poster on given theme.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
Size of the poster should be 4×4 feet (L×B).
3 Vigyan Sandesh “Art in Science” II. Vigyan Sketch Pad Description: Participant will prepare a drawing on given theme.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● Size of the drawing sheet should be 22” ×15” feet (L×B). ● Participant can use oil / water/ Poster or Pastel Colors ● The required material should be brought by the participant.
4 Vigyan- JAM (Just a minute) Description: Participant has to speak for 2 minute on the given topic.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Topic will be given on the spot and participant will get 45 seconds to think on topic • Participant would get 1 minute time to speak on the given topic. • It is important to make different points on topic and support views with suitable example and anecdote.• Language can be Hindi, English or Punjabi • Judgment will be based on the content and expression
5 Vigyan Shodh: Still / Working Model Description: Participant will have to display and explain Still / working scientific model
Team Composition: A team of 2-3 participants.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● Model along with self-explanatory poster / Booklet should be presented. ● The core idea should be NOVEL and INNOVATIVE. ● Focus should be on giving a simple and inexpensive solution to a problem.
6 Science-on-Stage:I. Skit Description: Participants should perform skit based on the themes.
Team Composition: A team of maximum 10 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 1 team per school.
Rules:
● Max. Time: 6-8 minutes ● Material provided by the host: chairs, tables, mic, audio system, marker board ● Costumes and set materials should be brought by the participating team. ● Judgment will be based on appropriateness, entertainment value, teamwork, script (theme based).
7 Science-on-Stage:II Solo Dance Description: Participants should perform skit based on the themes.
Team Composition: A team of maximum 10 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 1 team per school.
Rules:

8 Science-on-Stage:III Group Dance Description: Participants should perform dance based on the themes.
Team Composition: A team of maximum 10 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 3 team per school.
Rules:
● Max. Time: 7 min ● Only audio system will be provided from the host ● Costumes and set material should be brought by the participating team ● Judgment will be based on choreography (theme based), performance, costume and audience impact.
9 Shark Tank “Idea Snapshot” – Entrepreneurship Potential Description: Participant will present a startup idea with ppt.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time limit: 5 minutes ● Maximum slides: 07 ● Judgment will be based on the idea feasibly, originality and presentation.
10 Digi-Collage Description: Participant should have to make a digital collage on any one of the given themes.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time limit: 45 minutes. ● Tool allowed is MS-Word only ● Internet will be provided. ● Judgment will be based on theme clarity, creativity and its presentation.
11 Tech Savvy Description: Participant will have to create a document on given theme.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 1 team per school.
Rules:
● Internet will be provided for first 15 minutes and then 30 minutes for making the presentation. ● Topic will be given on the spot. ● A proper documentation has to be prepared within the stipulated time and stored in MS Word file on the desktop. ● Relevance of content and its presentation will be the major consideration.
12 Vigyan Sketch-Pad Description: Participant will make Poster on any one of the given themes.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time limit: 60 minutes. ● Participant can use any tool like MS-Paint. ● Judgment will be based on theme clarity, creativity and visual impact
13 PowerPoint Presentation Description: Participant will have to present a talk with power point presentation on the given topics.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.

14 Tech Recycle Challenge: Turning Waste into Tech Treasure Description: Participant will have to create an IT model using waste material or repurposed resources.
Team Composition: A team of 2participants
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● The model creation should be based on sustainability, recycling or waste reduction in the IT field. ● Each team will present their model to a panel of judges, highlighting its innovation and impact. ● Final product will be the property of the organizing institution.
15 Skill Vigyan: Instagram Reels Description: Participant will create a Instagram reel based on G-20 theme.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participant.
Maximum Teams: 4 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time Limit: 40 Sec. to 60 Sec. ● A participant will tag the Reel with Doaba College Official Instagram Page (@doabacollege_official) ● Reels with Maximum Likes upto day of event will be the winner
16 Online Chess Description: Chess competition between participants on computer system.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● 1 Vs 1 battle. ● A time of 30 sec will be provided for each move. ● All the rules of CHESS must be followed.
17 Radio -Ki-Awaaz Description: Participant will record radio talk/varta in any language related to various themes focusing G-20 (Climate/Education/A1/Health etc).
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school
Rules:
 Time limit: Up to 03 minutes.  Talk must be narrated by a sole narrator.  The Participants will be judged on the basis of Content, Narration, and Delivery.  Language: Hindi/English/Punjabi.  Record your talk on mobile in a noise free room and submit at the time of registration in MP3 format
18 G-20-in-focus (Photography) Description: Participant will submit photograph based on theme.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
 Theme for the photography will be provided at the time of registration.  Photograph must not be edited.  Participant must bring their own camera/mobile phone and card reader/ Whats-App number would be provided to submit their photograph with name and school name.  Each participant may submit maximum three different photographs by 1 pm in Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
19 Reporting G-20 Description: Participants will write report/news in 150 words related to G-20 in any language Hindi/English/Punjabi.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
 Time limit: 30 minutes.  Topic will be provided at the time of registration.  Word Limit: 150 words.  Best report will be judged separately in Hindi/English/Punjabi. (1st& 2nd prize for each language).
20 G-20 on Mobile Description: Mojo is Mobile journalism in which participant record audio and video on mobile.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
 Time duration: 2-4 Minutes.  Topic will be given at registration.  Each team should have 2 Participants consisting of journalist and Phone Camera man.  Participants must bring their own phone with in-built editing software, mic etc.  The team may include bites of three different persons, one bite of student from own institute, one from host institute and one from other institute participating in Inter-school competition..  The journalist anchor will mention the venue and name of the mobile cameraman while closing the news event at the signature venue (Media & IT Block).  Editing must be done on their own.
21 G-20 on TV Description: The participant will read the news related to G-20 just as a news reader in news channels.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
 Printed copies of script in Hindi/English/Punjabi language would be provided half an hour before the competition.  Same should be displayed on the teleprompter.  Result will be based on fluency, spontaneity & confidence.  1st & 2nd prize for each language.  Edited story will be submitted by 1 PM in the editing lab, Department of Journalism and Mass communication.
22 Vigyan Guru Description: The participant has to teach one topic of his/her own choice
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school
Rules:
● Time limit: Up to 1 minutes ● The topic should be from 6th – 10th class (NCERT) ● Judgement will be based on the content quality, usage of audio video aids, self-confidence, voice modulation and appropriate usage of teaching method ● Language: English, Hindi, Punjabi
23 Black Board Writing Description: The participant will write on the Blackboard to show his/her Blackboard Writing Skills.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
Duration: 5-7 Minutes ● The participants will bring their own material e.g. Chalks (Colored and white), Duster etc. ● The participants can write in English, Hindi or Punjabi language or in any mix of these languages. ● They can draw Flow Charts, Diagrams and any other images related to the topic ● The topic will be chosen by the participants themselves from the syllabus IX to XII classes (Any subject). ● The Blackboard writing should be according to the content of the topic. ● The due credit will be given to originality, creativity, decorative art with aesthetic sense.
24     declamation Description: Participants have to present a conceptual ad of a product.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant from each group.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Time limit: 3-5 minutes. • Group : A (11th & 12th Class) • Group : B (9th & 10th Class) • Language: English, Hindi or Punjabi.
25 Vigyan Vigyapan Ad-Mad Show Description: Participants have to present a conceptual ad of a product.
Team Composition: A team of 2 - 4 participants.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time limit: up to 3 minutes. ● The topic will be given on the spot. ● Each team will have 10 minutes for preparation. ● There should be no exposure to biasness against any caste community or religion through your performance. ● No derogatory or obscene language should be used. ● Judgment will be based on the content, spontaneity, adherence to the topic, coordination, appeal of the advertisement, humor and performance on the stage.
26 WTW: Waste to wealth Description: Participant will have to make useful products from waste material.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
● Time limit: 1 hour and 30 min. (for model making) 2 minutes (for presentation) ● The required waste material and stationery like scissor, thread, etc. should be brought by the participants. ● Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second hand items that otherwise would be thrown away. ● The material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second hand item. ● No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from participant in competition. ● Judgment will be based on Creativity, Utilization of Resources, Artistic composition & design, Eco-friendly rating, Utility of the Product and Overall Presentation. ● No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use. ● Final product will be the property of the organizing institution.
27 Mehndi Description: Participant will draw Mehndi to show his/her creative skills.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants (One participant and one model).
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Time limit: Up to 2:30 Hours • The due credit will be given on originality, creativity, decorative art with aesthetic sense, • Use of hand print, any kind of mold and any kind of decorative material is/are not allowed. • The Participant has to bring its own Mehndi and other materials required for it. • The Mehndi must be extended to the palmer side forearm with minimum six Inch length. • The participant has to draw the Mehndi on palmer side of both hands of the model. • The model should be the student of the same school.
28 Nail Art Description: Participant will draw Nail Art to show his/her creative skills.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants (One participant and one model).
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Time limit: Upto 2:30 Hours • Contestants may apply any length of nail enhancements to their models prior to the competition without any design work. • Any nail art medium can be used to achieve the design such as acrylic paints, brushes, colour shapers, sponges and dotting tools, rhinestones, pearls, studs, glitters, feathers, foils, lace, nail polish, base coats, and top coats. • No pre-designed tips, printed images or patterned tips to be used. • The participants must bring their own material including the electrical tools such as compressors, air guns etc. • The model should be the student of the same school.
29 Rangoli Description: Participant will make Rangoli to show their creative skills.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
• Time limit: 2 hours and 30 minutes. • Size: 4×4 feet (L×B) • Rangoli colors and any other material should be brought by the participant. • Flower petals, Saw-dust, pulses, rice etc. is allowed except pre-prepared materials and castings.
30 Vigyan Aahar: Food for Health Description: Specific food preparations as a part of supportive therapeutic interventions for common ailments
Team Composition: A team of 1-2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
● Participants can present a self-explanatory poster / Booklet encompassing the ingredients, recipe and scientific relevance in a specific disease e.g Common cold, indigestion, Flu, loss of appetite etc. ● Time limit for the specific preparation – 30 minutes ● Participant should encourage the use of house hold common kitchen ingredients and avoid their synthetic counterparts. ● Participants will have to bring the materials as per their requirement.
31 Skill Vigyan: Flower Decoration Description: Participant would create Eye-Catching and balanced display of floral art using plants material and flower.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 1 team per school.
Rules:
● Time Limit : 1 hour ● Theme of the display will be determined by the participants. ● Participants will require showcasing either Hand Bouquet or Table Arrangement. A Table will be provided for this category. ● Participants are not allowed to bring along any partially completed or readymade segments for any of their arrangement. ● Participants should bring their own containers & other materials including Flowers & Foliage. ● Participants are required to display their arrangements showcasing the theme through their craftsmanship which should demonstrate their passion to integrate aesthetics with sustainability.
32 Best Hand-Writing Description: Participant will have to write on the given topic.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant.
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
• The writing should feature technically correct performance of specifications such as the slope, shape, space and size of letters. • Calligraphy tools cannot be used for penmanship competition. • Participants can come prepared with any topic from G20 tracks (Sherpa Track, Finance Track, and Engagement Groups). • Participants will be given 30 minutes to write
33 Essay Writing Description: Participant will have to write on the given topic.
Team Composition: A team of 1 participant
Maximum Teams: 3 teams per school.
Rules:
• The Theme of the essay should be G20 • Participants will be given 40 minutes to write the essay • The essay should be objective (fair and balanced), not subjective (personalized) such as “I think”, “I believe”, or “In my opinion”. • Avoid abbreviations e.g. write “United States” not “U.S.” in the essay. • Do not use slang. • Avoid writing the same words or phrases again and again.
34 The Handmade Marketplace Challenge Description: Participant will have to create handmade products to participate.
Team Composition: A team of 5 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• All products must be made by the students themselves. • Students can work individually or in team of two, but each product must be predominantly the result of their own effort. • Define the specific categories or types of products that can be sold. For example, crafts, art, food items, etc. • Participants should set a reasonable cost for each of their products, taking into account materials, time, and market value. • The cost should be clearly displayed with each product. • Each participant/team will be provided with a specific display area. • Define acceptable payment methods (cash, digital payments, etc.). • A sales team will be provided by the organizing institution, and the sales team will keep a record of all sales, including the product sold and the price. • The winner will be determined based on the highest total sales revenue. The participant or team with the most sales at the end of the event is declared the winner. The Winners will be awarded with cash prize of Rs2100 • Any form of cheating, misrepresentation, or dishonesty is strictly prohibited. • Ensure that all products adhere to safety regulations, especially if they are food items. • The decisions of the event organizers are final in all matters related to the event. • Participants are responsible for their products and any liability that may arise from their sale. • All participants and attendees are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a respectful and inclusive environment. • The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules or schedule if necessary
35 Storytelling Competition Description: Participant will have to narrate a story.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Participants can choose their own stories, which can be personal narratives, folktales, or original creative works. • Stories should be suitable for a general audience, free from offensive content. • Each participant is allotted a specific time limit (e.g., 5 minutes) for their storytelling performance. • Participants will be evaluated based on criteria such as content, delivery, creativity, engagement, and overall performance. • Judges' decisions will be final. • Stories should have a clear beginning, middle, and end and should be well-suited for oral performance. • All participants and audience members are expected to be respectful and inclusive. Discriminatory or offensive content will not be tolerated. • Any participant found violating the rules or engaging in disruptive behavior may be disqualified from the competition. • The decisions of the event organizers and judges are final in all matters related to the competition.
36 Storyboard Competition Description: Participant will have to create a story board.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Storyboards may be hand-drawn, created digitally, or created using images. • Maximum board size 4x4 feet • Submissions should be clear, legible, and well-organized. • Each storyboard should be accompanied by a brief written description of the arrative. • All submitted storyboards must be the original work of the participant. • Storyboards will be evaluated based on criteria such as storytelling, visual composition, creativity, and adherence to the theme. • Judges' decisions will be final.
37 Temple Run Description: Participant will have to successfully cross the temple run path on the ground.
Team Composition: A team of 2 participants.
Maximum Teams: Only 2 team per school.
Rules:
● A path with hurdles will be there. ● The path would be crossed blindfolded by the one of the participant following the directions given by the other participant of the team. ● Judgment will be based on the time taken to cross the complete path more accurately and on collected points.
38 HANDS & FEET CHALLENGE Description: Participant will have to successfully complete the track.
Team Composition: One participant per team.
Maximum Teams: Two teams per school.
Rules:
• Participant has to complete a track of 15 feet, divided into rows and columns with printed hand, and foot shape in cells in 30 seconds. • Participant has to place correct hand and foot on location printed on track.
39 ZERO KANTA Description: Participant will have to successfully arrange/place cones in vertical, horizontal or diagonally in the matrix
Team Composition: A team of 4 participants.
Maximum Teams: Two teams per school.
Rules:
• Three Cones of same color will be provided to each team. • Game will start with a whistle. • Team members will make a queue. • First person in the queue run with cone and put the cone in the Tic-Tac-Toe Matrix box. • After this he/she returns to the queue and give clap to the next person and after that he/she stands in the last position of queue. • This procedure is continued until any team arrange/place cones in vertical, horizontal or diagonally in the matrix.
40 History & Fact Explorers' Detective Challenge Description: Participant will have to hunt for the answers for the questions.
Team Composition: A team of 5 participants.
Maximum Teams: Maximum 2 teams per school.
Rules:
• Time Limit: 50 minutes • Participants will provide with a series of questions related to school/ college, and answers will be hidden in different locations around the school/ college • Each team receives a list of clues. • Teams must stay together and follow the fair's guidelines for safety. • Once they've solved a clue, they proceed to the corresponding location to find the answer to the question or complete the task. • The team that completes the most challenges correctly within the time limit wins.
